HBO recently declared the cast list and director for ‘Game Of Thrones’ prequel

HBO’s Game Of Thrones prequel series will come together in a more appealing way. On Tuesday, HBO declared the full cast as well as the director’s name for the Game Of Thrones prequel. They even announced that the shooting will start in early 2019.

SJ Clarkson, who directed the pilot for Marvel and Netflix’s Jessica Jones as well as two episodes of The Defenders, will direct the untitled Game Of Thrones prequel series from writer Jane Goldman and Author George R.R Martin.

The cast includes Naomi Ackie, Denise Gough, Jamie Campbell Bower, Sheila Atim, Ivanno Jeremiah, Georgie Henley, Alex Sharp and Toby Regbo who have all joined the pilot as series regular.  Yet nothing much is known about the characters or the role.

The event will take place thousands of years before the actions of Game Of Thrones, representing the crash into the darkest hour of the golden age of Heroes.  The event describes the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East, and the Starks of legend that is adding that the story is not that the audience knows or they think that they know.

With Watts in the lead, Clarkson behind the camera, and Jane Goldman serving as a showstopper, it seems like HBO is learning from some of its past mistakes in the handling of women’s stories on Game Of Thrones, and addressing a lack of variety with a diverse sustaining case.
