The mastermind at the back of Pulwama attack who trained Adil Ahmad Dar

Intelligence organization in Jammu and Kashmir was quite sure about Pakistani Jaish-e-Mohammad commander-Ghazi Abdul Rasheed is the planner at the back of the horrific Pulwama attack which shocked the whole country on 14th February. He is the contiguous supporter of Jaish-e-Mohammed leader Maulana Masood Azhar.

However, the intelligence agencies believed that Ghazi Rasheed is the IED expert. He trained Adil Ahmed Dar the man who was after the suicide attack in Pulwama. He managed to creep into Kashmir with his two acquaintances in the mid-December last year.

Ghazi Rasheed was sent to Kashmir by Masood Azhar to take revenge of his two nephews, Talah Rasheed, and Usman who was killed, in 2017 and 2018 respectively in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. This is the same place where 40 CRPF was killed in the terror attack.

Masood Azhar’s second nephew Usman got involved in an encounter with defense services in Pulwama’s Tral area the previous year.

So far, the Intelligence report Ghazi Rasheed made a narrow flee in a fight between the militants and the security forces in Pulwama’s Ratnipora village a few days before the 14th February’s attack. In that encounter, one local militant was slaughtered but three others managed to run away.  HV Balijeet, an army officer was also martyred in the fight.
