Butch Robins genre of music is Americana. And the banjo virtuoso that he has used to perfection in his songs ‘Whitehouse Blues’ and ‘Singularity’ is noted for its stylistic diversity fits into many musical configurations. In his songs, the upright bass slaps away and the tremolo guitars twang with abandon and the listeners are breathlessly dancing the night away. The tempo in the song chills a little and the 50’s flex its influence with stabs and stops and the song flourishes embellishing the arrangement throughout. An intense moment of interest is created that leaps out of the swagger-filled and laid back groove and effortlessly soothes your ears.
