Supreme Court ordered CBI to solve SSC paper leak case

On Tuesday, Supreme Court directed that CBI to file 2017 SSC exam paper leak case and wanted the status report of the investigation. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said that the hearing for this case will be on April 11.

After the leak of the SSC CGL 2017 exam papers, the job seekers made a huge protest. The SSC has taken the help of CBI for investigating the case.

On 1st April the apex court has permitted SSC to declare the result of a re-examination of SSC Combined Graduate Level 2017 which was held in last year.  The court informed that lakhs of unemployed youths who have suffered due to someone from the organization was dishonest.

On last year 31st August, the apex court stayed the declaration of the result of SSC CGL and CHSL Examination, in which lakhs of student appeared. They said that it seems that the entire test and the system were spoiled.

On January 10th the apex court privileged setting up of the three-member high powered committee that has Nandan Nilekani, co-founder of tech giant Infosys, and popular computer scientist Vijaya P Bhatkar to recommend reforms for carrying out of competitive examination.

The SSC Combined Graduate Level exam that has a four-tier system, in which tier I and tier II will be computer-based. Whereas, tier III and tier IV, job applicant will take up with descriptive paper and a computer proficiency test.
