Lot Of Pre-Orders have been lost by Modern Warfare due to exclusivity of spec ops

Before the live stream of State of Play from the past week the Call of duty: Modern Warfare’s release has no negativity and it is one of the most ambitious franchises in the history of the COD game. After the revelation by Sony that the Survival mode of the Special ops game will be exclusively available on PlayStation 4 in the first year of the game, the soft reboot of the popular and upcoming shooter franchise of the first person had a dose of negativity which is a first for it.

According to the infinity ward development team only 1 % is made up by the Special ops Survival mode for the in-game content of Call of duty: Modern Warfare whereas players who are on other platforms like PC and Xbox got furious when the exclusivity of PlayStation 4 was announced and because of this the fame gas lost pre-orders for PC and Xbox One in tons as Call Of Duty – Modern Warfare Has Reportedly Lost A Lot Of Pre-Orders.

The lost pre-orders total amount is not known to the public as yet but reports floated that the cancellation numbers are very big where there was a big meeting was recently held between Infinity Ward and Activision where microtransactions of Call of duty: Modern Warfare was discussed. Multiple sources have reported that the microtransaction strategy was re-evaluated which was the major purpose of the meeting that included weapons locking behind random loot boxes.

The microtransactions approach has been reconsidered by Activision and Infinity Ward as a result of the outrage that sparked off because of the announcement of the Special Ops survival. In a nutshell, a way has been searched for Xbox One and PC pre-orders and get them back to the previous position before the announcement Tuesday by the State of Play.

The negativity that surrounded Call of duty: Modern Warfare was responded by Joel Emsile who is Infinity Ward’s art director called upon the fans to remember the fact that game has been developed by people who are human beings as they are no different from the fans and it can be understood that in case of a large scale project of this stature, negativity is bound to happen as he went on and fans are pleaded by him so that concerns and complaints are stated in a diplomatic way.

The art director from Infinity Ward said that people are upset but urged that their thinking can be creative. He also urged fans to get this out of their system and do not forget to remembers that the people working on it are also humans and like every other person they also have bad days in office.

Leaving aside the exclusivity of PlayStation 4 everything that Infinity Ward and Activision have announced concerning Call of duty: Modern Warfare soft re-launch which have been received pretty well. So, let us just hope that the game lives up to the expectations when it releases in the PC and Consoles in October.
